This display difference is perhaps the part that makes us consider spending £200 extra the most. While the Chromebook 514's 1080p panel is reasonably sharp, the Spin 713's 2256 x 1504 panel is extremely sharp given its cost. It's likely because the Chromebook Spin 713's screen can twist all the way round, and that demands a more involved hinge mechanism. That said, the Spin 713 is only 50g lighter. A smaller footprint is a bonus if you want a laptop to carry around with you most days.
